I love it. It’s chilly outside, the leaves are crunchy (*possibly a wet slushy sludge mess) under foot, the evenings are darker, and EVERYONE wants to gather around the table to tuck into something warm, comforting and delicious.

I’m smiling as I type this, because Redwings Horse Sanctuary in Essex has that effect on both its visitors, and residents of 80 horses, ponies and donkeys. As part of the UK’s largest horse sanctuary, this peaceful, unassuming little haven is a lovely place to visit with little and big-ones in tow, especially if they are crazy about horses.

Residence renovation creates a contemporary Seashore home in Toronto

If you stay in a 126-year-old home that is been solely reasonably up to date through the years, you be taught to stay with some discomforts.

For Shelley and Paul Williams, that meant warning company to put on further layers within the winter as a result of their Toronto home within the Seashore was fully uninsulated. Navigating the gaps between the creaky hardwood flooring. Getting dressed by the glow of a flashlight within the upstairs hallway as a result of the bed room closet was tiny and the feeble ceiling lights did not make a dent at midnight, windowless passageway.
