And we had the most beautiful apartment to do just that in. I am sharing a video tour

MFCH Lifestyle Tours

Oh my goodness, it felt so good to be back with a full schedule of MFCH Tours this year! In the Spring we took clients to Provence, and to Dordogne, and in the fall we covered Normandy and Paris. Still remaining is a private trip in October.

MFCH may tour to dordogne

All our clients this year have said the same thing, “it feels so good to travel again!”, especially on a luxury tour where every tiny detail is taken care of, and where clients are whisked away to private homes and gardens, and see things that tourists would never have access to.

It is hard to believe it is almost the middle of September already- and that we are zooming right into autumn and the holiday season. And autumn garden season too.

Creating an autumn Garden Retreat & what I am planting

Here in California- September usually brings fairly warm (even hot!) daytime temperatures with crisp nights – and so our planting and gardening season continues a bit later than some. Les Grandes Vacances were regarded as sacred.

The long, hot days of August were when the French believed it was the right time to close down, take a break and go away for a whole month. Traditionally they headed to Provence, to Brittany and some to the mountains. The warm
